About The Shack

Hi, my name is Dean, and I'm the owner of The Lightning Shack.

The idea started during Covid, inspired by my friends who were getting creative - learning blacksmithing, woodturning, and other hands-on crafts. Wanting to try something myself, I began experimenting with high-voltage electricity and wood.

Each piece is made in the north of Ireland using over 4,000 volts to create lightning-like patterns, formed by the unpredictable path of electricity, ensuring no two pieces are ever the same.

What started as curiosity has grown into The Lightning Shack. Whether you’re looking for a centrepiece or a functional piece of art, know that each creation is meticulously crafted to my highest standard.
